I used Castle Removals to clear my daughters stuff from a flat in Edinburgh when she finished her degree at the University. From first contact with Castle Removals until the goods were delivered the service was impeccable. They turned up on time, took great care and were very helpful and considerate. I cannot recommend them enough!

Fantastic service and incredibly good value for money. Castle removals smashed all the other removal quotes I'd received and even helped me out when I had more items to move than first planned. Everything was carried out quickly and professionally - I'd highly recommend.

After I got let down on the day the move was arranged for due to a hold up with the funds we had to rearrange. P.J was most understanding and helped me find somewhere to store my things and moved them as soon as we got the go ahead.

They were so professional I literally gave them the keys and was advised to go for lunch or coffee! Upon my return I was more than happy with the work that was done and I have absolutely no complaints.

I was really impressed with the general approach even before the day of the move - our missives were late and lockdown was in the air but PJ was very customer-focussed and flexible. On the day itself the guys were efficient, courteous and good-humoured - despite the pouring rain. Castle moved an entire household three floors down and then two up, and that was with a piano. Very efficient, PJ the boss kept us updated beforehand, the guys worked hard and had us out speedily, even though I had drastically underestimated the number of boxes. In our line work at Max we deal with artifacts which are both delicate in condition and have great meaning to the holders of these collections so to move them from one place to another can be very precarious. So finding the right company for the task is a great relief . Which is exactly what we have found with Castle from the moment the van arrives on time to the way the staffs experience in handling the boxes/crates the courteous and professional manner in which they work your mind is put at rest . I don't think you could ask for more and on that basis I believe that Max Communications and Castle have a good working relationship .

Castle removals did great work for us: the two guys who helped us move were lovely and very quick and efficient at moving the stuff. They were gentle with the items and packed them well in the van so nothing got broken. I'd use them again in future!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone moving. Duncan and the entire removal team were so professional and experienced and just worked so hard. They made us feel really relaxed on the day with lots of fun chat and they had a great sense of humour. We had a lot of boxes and I was so impressed how quick they emptied the house and how they stacked the van up, like a game of Tetris! They were careful with our stuff too. One of our large wardrobes wouldn't fit in our new house, sadly, but they offered to take it away for us too, which saved a lot of hassle. PJs correspondence with me in the booking stages, was professional, but relaxed too and he always replied quickly to any questions I had and didn't pester me to book. I went with Castle Removals for the refurbishment of a central Edinburgh flat and would highly recommend them. I had a tight but shifting timescale involving clearance of furniture and then delivery of replacement furniture and they were flexible, helpful to a degree not found so often these days and able to work at short notice. They were always polite but also easy to work with. I will definitely go first to them for any future moves.

Booked Castle Removals to move from a 2nd floor tenement flat to a 1st floor flat. The two guys who showed up made light work of the move despite all the stairs and were friendly and polite. We used Castle Removals for our house move yesterday and I just wanted to recommend them to everyone for their competitive prices, efficiency and great attitude. We had a lot of stuff to move and distribute over three floors of our new house and some boxes were very heavy. Castle Removals did a great clearance job in a third floor flat for me - even removing a fitted kitchen, appliances and carpets. They were able to complete the job at very short notice and also arranged for a deep clean to be done the following day, which was a huge help! Perfect move all round. The removals guys were unbelievably quick, could not be more helpful, handled 2 flights of stairs at one end and 3 steep + narrow flights at the other, and all in great humour too! Also huge thanks to PJ for being patient when I couldn't confirm the booking due to completion delays, and for sorting it out over a weekend with only 6 days to go - terrific.

Brian & Don delivered a new and removed an old living room suite quickly and efficiently. Were prepared to re-attach the cushions etc. Placed the furniture where it was needed. Great team, very cheerful (and careful). Moved an upright piano from Edinburgh to London for us and took a baby grand away: managed the sloping drive and awkward corners with no problems. Took real care with both instruments and our wooden floor. Fantastic value for money and heartily recommended!

Due to personal circumstances last week I has no alternative but to find a flat , move location and empty my previous residence totally unexpected and at very very short notice.

I contacted PJ at Castle who immediately came to see me and quote me for the job. I was happy with the price and felt assured I had made the right choice. We bought a mighty heavy old walnut wardrobe from a private vendor on the third floor of an Edinburgh tenement. When I saw that Castle move pianos, I thought that they would probably manage an antique wardrobe, albeit I couldn't push it along the floor myself. However, I was not sure that moving a single piece of furniture would be an appealing job for a professional removal company. I need not have worried - I was treated with the same courtesy as though I was offering Castle a big lucrative job. I rang on a Saturday, and the wardrobe was in its new home (ours!) on the Monday. This seems to be a family firm who pride themselves on doing a first-rate job at a very competitive price. Wholeheartedly recommended.
